E3-1245V3の交換とNone-ECC化 海外のWebではCore i7 4790に換装している例があるので、どうせならCore i7 4790Kに交換 E3-1245V3は、もったいないがML310e Gen8V2に玉突き引越し
交換する物
現状
ヒートシンクを外す
現れたE3-1245V3
交換するCore i7 4790K
メモリは、通常のDDR3 CFD 8G×4枚
メモリ・CPU換装して起動
Core Tempで確認
過負荷状態
過負荷状態 4GHｚどまり
エクスペリエンスインデックス測定中 4.4GHzまで上昇
エクスペリエンスインデックス測定中 4.4GHzまで上昇
ついでにIntel 10G NIC-FH Intel X520-DA1 E10G41BTDA を購入
Z230SFFはLPなのでLPの金具を探して換装
見栄えが悪いがZ230SFFに装着

返信削除Z 230 will start up without having to do any special operation with i7 4790k.
However, even if you exchange it for i7 4790k, there is nothing to benefit from.
Please note that the heat generation of i7 4790k is sometimes as high as 85 ° C.
The exchange to i7 4790k is merely self satisfaction.

返信削除I have the tower version of Z230 and since it has a bigger heatsink maybe the temperature may be lower for me.
I use my PC for gaming too so it will benefit from the higher clockspeeds.
I have some other questions for you. Sorry if i bother you !
Does it not work at all with ECC memory, because i have read somewhere else that it will disable the ECC of the memory and it will work even with ECC memory.
The Windows Performance Index of my PC is 7.7 for the cpu and memory, how much it changed yours from the upgrade ?
And can you overclock it via Intel XTU ?

返信削除As my environment is SFF as described on the Web, the temperature rise may be intense.
Intel XTU is not used. I will never use it in the future. The measured Windows Performance Index is 6.7.

オーバークロックは、Z230SSFの狭い筐体なので考えてもみません。ただの酔狂な者なので、4790kに替えて使用しているだけです。PhotoShopはサクサク動きます。
